Terms and Conditions

Upon making selection of menu and other requirements, we will send a quotation; however we will make the reservations awaiting the letter of confirmation based on payment and credit clause below. We hope that you make preliminary arrangements that cover all your requirements, however, should you have any further request or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned.

PAYMENT & CREDIT

All catering or seminar bookings are held on tentative basis unless a pre-payment equivalent to 100% of the cost of services requested is made 14(fourteen) days in advance to guarantee the arrangements. Any additional charges incurred on site, shall be invoiced to you and payment should be processed before departure.

Where a company has a credit arrangement, a duly approved Purchase or Service Order (LPO) must be submitted to facilitate billing after the event.

Cancellation Policy

Deposit will not be refunded for cancellation within 72 hours. Where there was an LPO raised in case of prior credit arrangement, full charges will be raised and will be payable as per the terms of the credit arrangement.  For cancellation within seven days deposit will not be refunded but may be used as credit against future services offered by the hotel.

Acceptable Forms of Payment

We will accept wire fund transfers, and company cheques from companies with approved credit facility as payment for products and services. Cheques from companies without the credit arrangement will subject to management approval. Kenkana caterers can also accept payments for events via M-Pesa (0724239816), or Equity Bank Account No 0550166057324 Account Name: Kenkana Caterers American Express, MasterCard, or Visa.

Indemnity

Should the need arise and venue previously allocated to Kenkana Caterers may be relocated. The nature of the event will be taken into account and cost involved. Should the venue be damaged but remain usable, the event may at discretion of the event owner continue. Kenkana caterers reserve the right to publicize past, current and future events unless requested not to do so by event owner or event organizer.

Kenkana Caterers, its agents, employees or any third parties, will not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage of the cost thereof (including legal action) due to any cause whatsoever.

Any advice, recommendations or opinions given by agents, employees or third parties associated with Kenkana caterers are given in good faith. These will not raise to claims against the Kenkana caterers.

Joint and Several Liability

If the event owner and /or event organizer is made up of more than one person, those persons will be jointly and severally liable to Kenkana Caterers terms of this contract.

It is the event owner and event organizer responsibility to ensure they are familiar with and comply the information contained in the contract, terms and conditions and event order. They are responsible also for ensuring that they or any of their appointed agents do not contravene any of the restrictions affecting organizations that occupy the property.

Kenkana caterers Liability

Kenkana caterers will not be responsible for any loss or damage due to causes beyond its control.

This includes loses sustained by the event owner /or Event organizer due to the cancelation of the event by Kenkana Caterers.

Should Kenkana caterers cancel the event, the monies received from the event owner and event organizer will be refunded less cancellation cost and expenses incurred to date by Kenkana Caterers for the event.

Damage to or Loss of Property

Any damage to the venue, Furnishings, utensils and equipment must be paid for by event owner and event organizer.

Restoration

Prior to vacating the premise, the event owner and organizer, must at their expense ensure that the rented space and equipments has been restored to its original condation.In the case of utensils and operating equipments, this will require to be cleaned.

Safety and Security

The event owner/organizer must agree to comply with the safety and security policies of the owner of the Venue where the event is taking place.

Vacation of the Premise

If the event owner and or event organizer does not vacate the premise at agreed time and rented utensils and equipment returned to the owner, any resulting cost /opportunity cost incurred will be charged to them.
